Position: Corporate Relation Officer

Job Overview: 

The Corporate Relation Officer will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate partners and stakeholders, creating opportunities for collaboration, and developing partnerships that facilitate the career development of students and alumni. 

Job Description:

  • Identify and establish partnerships with corporations, industry associations, and other relevant organizations to support the career development of students and alums.
  • Ensure corporate registration on the website daily and place vacancy announcements for jobs and internships on CPC's website.
  • Plan and coordinate networking events, career fairs, and other outreach activities that connect students and alumni with potential employers.
  • Bring in experienced corporate personalities, and organize career seminars, training modules, and student workshops.   
  • Manage relationships with corporate partners, including regular communication, reporting, and follow-up to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Research and analyze industry trends and labor market data to inform the development of programs and services that support the career goals of students and alumni.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on corporate engagement and the impact of the career center's programs and services.
  • Responsible for internal communication required for organizing an event.
  • Assist CPC team, provide suggestions about different companies, list new/startup companies, and support maintaining the employer database, including working as the point of contact to organize any program, career sessions, events, and webinars for the corporates.
  • Ensure proper communications with different industries' talent acquisition and HR departments. 
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Director, CPC.

Academic Qualification:

  • Master’s degree from any reputed university, preferably in Business Administration/ English with at least 2nd class/ CGPA 3 out of 4. 

Experience: 2 to 3 years in a relevant field.

Age: Not exceeding 32 years.

Pay Scale: Tk. 25,383 - 2,538- 63,456 (as per NSU policy).

Other Terms and Conditions:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in event planning and management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge about the current job market and employment trends, with the ability to translate this knowledge into actionable strategies for students and alumni.
  • Willingness to work on holidays and after office hours, if necessary. 
  • Third division/ class/ equivalent CGPA of the candidates in any educational level will not be accepted.
