Lab Officer
Job Description:
Set up and prepare the laboratory for physics experiments.
Teach/demonstrate students how to use equipment and techniques required for the physics experiments.
Monitor student’s lab performance, mark the lab reports/assignments and help to prepare the grade sheet.
Manage and maintain organization of the DMP laboratory.
Keep track of equipment inventory and prepare equipment lists as necessary.
Support DMP laboratory housekeeping and safety protocol, receive, install and maintain laboratory supplies and equipment.
Assist in development of the physics laboratory manual.
Support DMP in laboratory related activities.
Any other responsibility as and when required by the NSU Authority.
Essential Requirements:
Master’s degree in Physics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Civil Engineering with CGPA 3.50 or above in a scale of 4.00
Minimum 3 (three) years work experience in a laboratory of any Academic Institution.
Willingness to work in holidays and after office-hours if necessary.
Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and well conversant in computer applications.
Third division/ class/ equivalent CGPA of the candidates in any educational level will not be accepted.
